WHO WE ARE
ABBEY LONDER (Creator, Executive Producer)
I've been in comedy for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid all I've ever wanted to do is make people laugh. I started my career in Chicago where I studied theater, improv and sketch at Second City, iO and Columbia. Since moving to Los Angeles several years ago, I've found myself part of a burgeoning, young stand-up scene that has for years been bubbling underground. I’ve written and performed comedy and met and worked with some of the best people I know. Together we've put up shows in living rooms, Chinese restaurants, warehouses, and just about anywhere people would let us set up a microphone. There's absolutely nothing more that I love than bringing people together to laugh. Knowing that nothing so big can be done alone, I’ve enlisted the help of two amazing guys:
JEFF WATTENHOFER (Co-Producer)
Jeff is a standup comedian and writer based out of Los Angeles. In addition to performing all over town, he is also the co-producer of Holy F*ck, a wildly popular stand up show in downtown LA. When not performing comedy, he moonlights as the bass player for Ogre Mage, the country's premier Dungeons and Dragons-based fantasy rock outfit.
CHRIS REGISTER (Co-Producer)
Chris fell into this comedy community not as a performer but as a fan. In 2009 he co-produced a monthly show called Where’s the 101?, hosted in an underground warehouse gallery space in downtown Los Angeles, where he also coordinated art openings, fashion shows and live music. Chris’s penchant and passion for bringing different elements together for an occasion is what’s drawn him to the event production industry for so long. In 2010 he founded Event Theory, a catering and event production company. He is also co-owner of the Tin Box Of Curious Artifacts, a traveling vintage boutique. Producing this comedy festival, doing professionally what he loves personally, and finally working with so many of his favorite people is something of a dream come true for Chris.
