Kristyn R. Smith has been working professionally in the performing arts for the past 8 years. A 2004 graduate of SUNY New Paltz, she divided her time there equally between singing and dancing onstage, as well as building in the scene shop and editing in the sound lab. She has a dual degree in theater performance and design. Since moving to New York City, however, she has focused her creative endeavors backstage, working both on Broadway and off Broadway, as well as regionally, in roles as varied as director, manager, designer, technician, and engineer.
Kristyn also dabbles in the visual arts in her spare time. She works in mixed media, photography, sculpture, and collage. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
