I am a self represented visual artist working working between Europe and North America. My materials include tent technology, neon, cast aluminium and natural materials. I have shown internationally and in 2009 was nominated for a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship and was an invited artist in residence on the Island of Inishturkbeg off the west coast of Ireland. In 2008 I received a Grant for the Arts Award from the Arts Council England. As well as working as an artist I have, over the last three and a half years been the primary carer for my 4 year old daughter.
The sculptures I build are temporarily installed on small islands before I take them to the gallery space.
My work has been shown alongside that of artists such as Turner prize winner Martin Creed, Bob & Roberta Smith, David Blandy, Sarah Lucas, Scarlett Hooft Graafland, and photographers Roger Vale and Lukas Werth.
