Post CommentAlright friends and supporters, it's on--YourSports has officially dove into the exciting world of crowdfunding!
Crowdfunding is essentially demand-side economics for sports media where any game can now legally and profitably be broadcast on the web. The hard costs of the game--rights fees, production costs--are passed on to the viewer. If demand is met in time, the game gets broadcast. If not, the game is 'blacked out', and crowdfunders pay nothing.
We think crowdfunding + sports media is transformative. Thank you for being a part of the early stages.
We're raising more seed money to launch the platform version of yoursports.com where teams and schools can crowdfund and broadcast their own games and events--and finally monetize their media rights in the process! Get in touch if you want more information.
