Posted project update #35 Days Left to Meet Our Goal
Dear Friends,
We just wanted to give you the heads up that we are now at $9,261 of $12,250, which is more than 75%! We have 5 days left to go and as you know, if we don't make our full goal by 12:02am on Wednesday, February 1, we don't receive any of the pledged funds. So if you know anyone who has had the intention of contributing but just hasn't gotten around to it, now is the time!
We also wanted to thank you again for your contribution and to share a brand new video clip we've released to the social networking community.
This scene occurs early in the movie, when Michael is taking Louisa to a coffee shop in his neighborhood. Without even being asked, Michael monologues about his life in the Big City and won't let Aunt Louisa get a word in edgewise.
The monologue is intended both as a satirical commentary on our crazy, self-absorbed, modern lives, but also as a way of setting the story in a familiar world, so that when it goes off the rails it is all the more surprising.
We hope you enjoy and look forward to sharing the final product!
Yours,
Daniela Albin & Thomas Woodrow

Posted project update #2New Aunt Louisa Clip!
Dear Friends,
We're happy to report that the editing process is going very smoothly indeed. It's amazing how easy it can be when you're working with fantastic actors.
We're pleased to present you, our loyal backers, with a new video, in which Daniela talks about the process of casting the all-important role of Aunt Louisa. Stay tuned, because right after that, you'll also get your first glimpse of Mary Elaine Monti's amazing performance. Not to be missed!
Thank you so much for your support. Not only is it going to help us get through post-production and on into the festival circuit, but it's a wonderful encouragement to continue the work.
Sincerely Yours,
Daniela Albin & Thomas Woodrow

Post CommentDear Faithful Backers,
First off, we want to thank every one of you for your support so far. Not only does it get us closer to our fundraising goal, but it provides great encouragement to us as we embark on the process of finishing the film.
The edit is well underway, with the talented Ryan Murphy at the helm. It is a very exciting process to watch all of our hard work come together. Although we have a ways to go yet, we thought you might be interested to check out a clip from one of our favorite scenes (see below).
We look forward to sharing more as the film nears completion and you can be sure that we will keep you in the loop — we have many exciting developments in store!
Yours,
Daniela Albin & Thomas Woodrow
