Naomi, Thanks for your clarifying question. The film competition is for the short film we showed on the Kickstarter campaign. We have not yet finished post production on the feature film. So, you'd be voting for the short film, which you can watch again on the Possible Futures page if you'd like. We are officially premiering the film September 17 in Berkeley CA and are only a few days away from making this announcement widely! Thanks again for your support. -Mandy

Posted project update #41Within Reach Movie Update - Getting Close! Need Your Vote...
Hello to our wonderfully supportive community on Kickstarter!
We have had some new developments with the film editing, and have chosen to add new artists and give this film a chance for an actual theatrical run and hopefully some festival awards this fall, hence the delay getting you the final feature film. We know you'll be happy we took the extra time to really make this film GREAT so you feel proud to show it to your friends and family, kids' schools and more!
NOW...WE NEED YOUR VOTE!
Other exciting news - we are currently in the running for several film awards in the Possible Futures Film Contest. Please visit this page and click the big red VOTE button. It only takes a couple seconds to register. While you're at it, "like" the video on facebook and repost to your twitter, facebook, email, etc. and hopefully the video will be a big winner!
Thanks to all for your ongoing belief in the mission of this project.

love this project...and i'm a huge supporter of womens rights to breastfeed! we are making a movie "within reach" (we are in the hall of fame here on kickstarter) and we have a breastfeeding scene in it (may be on the directors cut only though as our potential distributor has already asked us to take it out...hmmmm)

No offense, but most of us haven't gotten to see the film yet. Wouldn't it be a little irresponsible of us to vote for a film that we haven't even seen?
