vinyl has arrived safely. no problems. except a train wreck.
now, we will begin shipping to you all. give us a little time to get organized, but it's all starting this week.

Hello, donator-pals! this is an update of the project and where everything stands.
We'll do it FAQ-style:
1. WHERE IS THE VINYL?
I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, it's FINISHED and being shipped to us where it was slated to arrive 4/11/12!
The bad news is, the train it is on HAS DERAILED AND CRASHED in Indiana somewhere, and UPS is trying to figure out if the vinyl was damaged or destroyed in any way.
We aren't even kidding.
If the vinyl is ok, they'll just get it on another train and ship it out, and we will hopefully know that today (4.10) sometime. If the news is worse, well..... we'll deal with that as we go.
2. WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THE OTHER STUFF?
In a nutshell: it's all ready to go, just waiting for the vinyl. We wanted to save money shipping by doing things all at once, otherwise we would have have shipped stuff out separately.
So, I guess there were only 2 questions in our FAQ. If you have more, please don't hesitate to contact us. You are always on our minds.

Hello, everyone! We just got back from SXSW and the deep south and really need to eat a salad, or something that isn't beige. Maybe later, though. These sausage biscuits I filled my knapsack with aren't gonna eat themselves!
Word is in from France (where they are pressing our album) that the finished vinyl should be in our hands the first week of April. We will ship post-haste at that point, with all your goodies.
For real!!

Posted project update #7winterpills vinyl LP status update
Hello, all our lovely backers!
Here is how it all looks right now:
- We were delayed a little bit by having to shift the project from a single LP to a double LP. We had to rework the artwork, tweak the mastering, etc. This means that now the plant is saying we will have delivery of the vinyl by the third week of March or thereabouts. Then we begin the process of packing everything up for everyone and shipping it all out to you. We are optimistically hoping you will all have everything by the end of March.
We know that's a little bit later than we promised, but we did have a setback.
in other news:
- The incredible limited edition screened posters by Nate Duval arrived last Thursday, right before our local CD release show (which was amazing. The Iron Horse was rafters-thick with people!)!
- also, the t-shirts are here too!
- so are the stickers!
Still being worked on:
- the songbook.
- for those who paid for them, the original songs. those might take a little bit of time get right.Here are some photos of the posters, t-shirts and stickers:

commented on a project updatehey george! yes every tier comes with a download....i think we realized that we stated it slightly confusingly: the download CARD is something that comes with the vinyl. but since the vinyl itself is still several weeks away, we're gonna go ahead and give all the tiers a download code for the whole album. so, look for yours in the next 24 hours, mostly likely daytime tomorrow....

commented on a project updateBrian - the album will be pressed on virgin vinyl, its heavier than 120-140gram standard recycled vinyl. not sure if its 180 gram per se but Noiseland tells us its the good stuff. the album is being manufactured at the legendary French vinyl manufacturer, MPO International (they pressed the Beatles albums). as for the download: what tier did you pledge at, Brian?
