Posted project update #15Grand Jury Prize at Slamdance!
Post CommentThe screenings were packed, the review in the Hollywood Reporter was great, there was a lot of press and buzz and then…
We WON THE GRAND JURY PRIZE FOR NARRATIVE FEATURE!!!
Of course, this is great super exciting news and was made possible by your participation and the hard work of the cast and crew. Everyone at Slamdance, filmmakers and staff, were really supportive, enthusiastic and great to be with. The awards felt like a party with some other great films winning awards. There was the 21 year olds (and under!) who made the audience award winning BINDLESTIFFS and the amazingly joyful and sweet HEAVY GIRLS crew.
For most of the week Lily Henderson (DP), Alex Mallis (DP), Elisabeth Holm (Producer), Russell Miller (Executive Producer), Lee Weinstein (Associate Producer), Ed David (Patron Saint of Pine Hill), Jay Sterrenberg (Meerkat and Consulting Editor), Isabell Yellin (poster design) and Henrietta Shannon (logistics) were with us and we had way too much fun. Liz’s Kickstarter party was THE BEST party in Park City and the buzz of both festivals.
We are now getting ready for what comes next, but we’re super excited for all of it.
Thanks to you and all your support. Don’t forget to LIKE the facebook page as there will be far more regular updates there.
Best,
Keith
