Posted project update #4Wow, so close!
Post CommentSo joyful over the progress of the project!
I am armed with a tape recorder, pen, and pad, at all times these days! I have been interviewing people all over the world in all sorts of mediums about their opinions about smoking and smoking habits! I am learning so much more than I ever thought possible, and documenting all of it.
Each year, it is my birthday wish to be a published author that year. Such has been my wish for many years. I am hoping that this year my pre Ides of March birthday (March 10, yea Pisces!) will bring me freedom to wish for something else, that I will be well on the way to seeing my book go to print. I can remember as a young girl, imagining what it must have been like for Sylvia Plath, or other young female writers, and how I couldn't wait to grow older and experience that for myself.
Please continue to spread word about this project and feel free to reach out to me and let me hear your voice!

Posted project update #3Over halfway there!
Post CommentCigarettiquette! is on its way and it is evolving. Thank you to ALL who have supported it, and me, so far in this journey.
Through conversations with all sorts of people. smokers, non smokers, black, white, old, young, American, etc, it's clear to me that people are talking about cigarettes, having feelings about cigarettes, the bans on them, and the segregation of the people who smoke them. If you would like to talk to me about how YOU feel about cigarettes, please email me at sandy.riefberg@gmail.com. Any and ALL opinions are welcome. My feelings about cigarettes are but one in a vast universe of humans, and I want to learn from as many of them as I can, and let the world do the same!
The project is over halfway there, and with luck in less than 30 days it will be off to the printers!
Love, Sandy Lynn Riefberg

Posted project update #2:)
Post CommentA heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the project so far! It's crazy to think I am 24% closer to holding Cigarettiquette! in my hands. Please continue to help by spreading the word!
I am conducting interviews currently for a segment of the book, and any interested parties, smokers or non, are welcome to contact me. We can chat via skype, phone, text, or in person depending on logistics! I am looking for people's feelings about cigarettes. What cigarettes mean to them.
Time for a smoke!

Posted project update #1Video Update.. now with... MY VOICE!
Post CommentThanks to the help of a very dear friend, Bill Kates, the sound genius, the sound for my video has been totally overhauled, and is now starring me! I was getting some feedback that it was hard to understand, and hopefully now it will have a little more spunk.
I am loving the feedback I've been getting from all of my backers, and so far this experience has been so much fun!
Project motto? "Light up, or lighten up!"
