Thanks to you we will all be making a really fun Christmas CD next week.
It came right down to the wire - I think we only had a couple hours to spare - but here we are! Time to get crackin'!
We've been perusing your outstanding requests in the comments section and are finishing up decisions on exactly which ditties we'll be recording. A few you'll likely hear:
- Walking in a Winter Wonderland
- Frosty the Snowman
- We Three Kings
- Go Tell It On the Mountain
- God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
- Joy to the World
- and more...
This also means we're spending a bunch of time working out arrangements in our own TRI-FI style. I know for sure my neighbors are wondering what the heck is going on over here as I bash through Christmas tune after Christmas tune on my piano. Too bad for them. We've got work to do and we're feeling the Christmas spirit, even in the heat of August.
So, on Monday August 8th we'll be at the recording studio doing what we love to do, and we'll be imagining that all 118 of you are right there with us.
Keep an eye out for news about our progress, music samples, photos, videos and more. We'll be posting them here on Kickstarter as private updates especially for your viewing and listening pleasure. Thank you for your support during this festive season.

Post CommentWe're getting really close - about $1000 to go until we have some serious Christmas fun. Thank you thank you thank you to the 100 or so of you who have joined our little party here on Kickstarter. You guys are the greatest.
The way I figure it, if 100 people order 1 more CD each (increase your pledge by just $10 - you know you're Aunt Sheila would really love a copy) then we have all the support we need - and it's party time! That's how close we are.
Plus - think of the benefits...
- You'll all have your Christmas shopping done for one more person on your list, and you know hard Aunt Sheila is to buy for!
- We'll have one more fan. We love fans!
- You won't have to listen to the Chipmunks Christmas Album while you're having dinner at Aunt Sheila's house this year...
It all makes sense to me... (wink wink)

The scary part is we've only got 4 days left and a long way to go. It's an all-or-nothing campaign. If we don't get enough support, no money changes hands and no music happens. The little jazz penguin will be so sad...
