Post CommentIf you were in Minnesota during last year's President's Day, then you have damn good reason to celebrate this year's weather. Here's to not having 16 inches of snow, a metrodome cave in, and essentially a spring-less year.
Current stats: 4 days left, $247 to go- however the most impressive number I find is the fact we've reached 161 backers so far. It just seems an incredibly large number of people to help out and I couldn't be more thankful. So, as optimistic as I am that we'll reach our goal... we still have to reach it first;)

Posted project update #11Homestretch: New T-Shirt Add & Big Villain Free Entry
Post CommentWhat's up everybody! We're in the homestretch, I have two exciting announcements for backers of the Mixtape 3.0 Kickstarter Project.
1- We'll be giving out special t-shirts for backers that contribute $50 or more. Everyone that contributes $25 or more will still receive a t-shirt, however we'll be giving out an extra & different t-shirt exclusively for $50+ Backers.
2- All backers receive free entry to Big Villain's debut show this coming Saturday! In case you're not sure what or who Big Villain is, Big Villain is a live hip-hop/jazz band that has been in the works for the past 2 years recording an album. Created by Reid Kennedy, I was asked to jump on to the project a few years back. Since completing the album, there have been features from internationally known jazz musicians including Michael Jackson's back-up singer, Judith Hill, from his formerly known This Is It Tour. Essentially, it's an amazing live band with me singing and rapping in front. Different sound, different people, big show. HERE'S THE CATCH: you have to RSVP to get into the show for free. Post CommentWhat's up all, first and foremost- holy &%$#, we've accumulated twice the amount of backers in the past 2 weeks. Thank you Thank you Thank you. You're awesomeness cannot be put into words at the moment, so I'm going to hold off at the moment and shout a big ol' "hell f'n yes" before I continue typing...
... Ok, done. Here's the math as we round the bend for the final stretch of our Kickstarter Campaign!
10 days left, $1723 to go.
Here are several ways to accomplish the goal of reaching 5000 before time runs out:
1. Turn on one friend to this Kickstarter to potentially contribute the same amount you already have. With over 120 backers already over the halfway mark of our goal, doubling that would put this project at 5000 easily. Peer pressure works as well.
2. I've made special t-shirts with graphic design from the "Makin' Mistakes & Feelin' Great" mixtape logo for backers that have contributed 50 or more. In the end, the backers that contribute 50 or more will receive an additional t-shirt towards their kickbacks.
