Great quality, love the t-shirt. Of course, the first thing my girlfriend said was that the print already was ruined in the wash.. But I like it. Subtle, yet visible.

        Thanks!

@Sbschenker: We're printing them right now as we speak! We started printing them last weekend after getting the tees back from the dye house, and are continuing to work through today and tomorrow. They will ship this week. I'll upload some of the NounShirts we've printed on Flickr and do an update soon.

@Rick: I spoke with our manufacturer yesterday, the NounShirts are cut & stitched and just went into the dye house. We expect to get them back next week, then they're off to print! We're hoping to start shipping week of March 7th. @Ruth: They're not all Public Domain, there are some Creative Commons Attribution in there as well, but I like your idea! Need to think it over and discuss with our developers. Thank you :)

@Johan This is just the beginning of Search, and we're working on continuing to extend its usability and scope. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi Josue, This is just the beginning :) We want to continue to improve Search, for one, as well as translate all nouns into different languages. As of right now we unfortunately can't accept icon submissions, but we definitely plan to open it up to users in the near future. Thanks!

    Search & Categories are here!

Thanks to the generous support from our Kickstarter backers, The Noun Project has launched Search & Categories features! www.thenounproject.com

Staying true to our mission of sharing our symbols in a fun and meaningful way, we’ve spent a lot of time focusing on the design of the Search option, making sure it’s simple and fun to use. We’ve also made some upgrades to the overall user experience of our site, for example you can now scroll through all the symbols while viewing them in the pop-up shadow box.

Looking for ideas? Check out our Categories collections. Some of the categories we’ve included are Transportation, Technology & Communication, and Safety & Warnings, just to name a few.

A big thank you to all of our Kickstarter supporters who saw the true potential of The Noun Project from the get-go! We will continue to develop and grow the site while keeping the symbols we share with the world free and of the highest design quality.

Enjoy, and share with your friends,

    ;)

    NounShirts Update

    Dear Supporters,

We wanted to give you an update about your NounShirts. We’ve submitted the first run of NounShirts to be processed at a local textile factory here in Los Angeles. The shirts are made from scratch to give them a super comfortable, stylish fit. Our friends at Hozell are making a behind-the-scenes video of their production process, we will share it with you as soon as it’s ready.

The factory is currently cutting the fabric per each size’s pattern, stitching the shirts, and dyeing them using organic dye in a deep gray color. Since our first run included close to 400 NounShirts, it will take the factory about 2 weeks to finish making them. Once we receive the shirts from the factory, it will take us about 1 week to print each NounShirt with the symbols you selected. Then it’s off to the post office for the special delivery!

We’ve also been busy finishing work on the Search feature. SimpleScott and his team of developers are doing a phenomenal job of creating something much greater than just a generic Search box. We’re really excited to share it with you soon :)

Thank you for all your support,

    The Noun Project
