commented on a projectFor now we have 4 base races + 6 guest races, and 7 backers who chose the 200$ tier reward, so 7 additional races. Total 17. I'm not sure yet how balanced will they be, after all backers will decide their characteristics (although I'm going to even them out in terms of power). We also need to do A LOT of testing before finalizing all the special powers of each race.

Yes, I came to Kickstarter due to Doublefine and after pledging there I browsed around and found this one. Your game sounds great, so I pledged!
Actually, I discovered the Double Fine game only after making an account specifically to help fund UFHO2.
Regarding your question no, I'm also a backer for double fine but it was a tweet from a mojang employee (kappische or jeb_ i don't remember) that pointed to your project.
