Posted project update #2In this Wood
Post CommentHello Everyone,
This week I've been tightening the edit as I wait for the availability of our visual-effects artist, who's in the West coast now working on a commercial. Before he left, we were working on a composite shot of the area of the wood Miranda walks through as she approaches the secret in the wood. The composite is being built entirely of still photos that will move in perspective. My brother shot stills of interesting trees in a nearby wood, and I cleaned each one in Photoshop--a long and tedious project! Each tree was blown up to around 1200%, so edge details could be preserved, as the separation between foreground and background weren't always there. Here are shots of one of the trees, before and after clean up. Thanks for your continued support, and please help spread the word on this fundraiser to your family, friends and associates!

Post CommentJust wanted to drop a note to say "Thank you" to "Wood's" special backers! Here's a shot of our young lead, Jenna Craig, who plays Miranda, on location in Manor, TX. Jenna's chatting with horse-champion Daniel Bedoya, who owns Magnolia, the beautiful white horse in our film. Daniel and his two young students helped coax the horse into "acting" for the camera.
