We just finished mastering the record (you know, the main reason for this Kickstarter). It turned out great, we're crazy excited for everyone to hear it. I've included a couple of pictures from the mastering session, as well as some mock-ups of the t-shirt design and the liner notes.
We'll be updating soon with some pictures of final products, and hopefully some more acoustic videos.

Post CommentSo now that the deadline has been reached (as of last night), I just wanted to say thank you all again for your support. Ever since we surpassed our goal, I've been hit over and over again with the realization that we're gonna get to make this record as awesome as it can be, and we owe it to you guys.
First of all, please keep an eye out for another email from us soon. I'm gonna start sending out surveys regarding rewards (t-shirt sizes, correct spelling of names for liner notes, etc) and the quicker you guys get back to me, the better our chances of staying on schedule.
Second, I was glad to see the positive reaction to our acoustic video from Saturday, so Pi and I are definitely going to be doing another one as soon as we get the chance. Don't worry, we'll post an update on here when we do.
Finally, just a quick update on the record itself. I've got a little over a week of mixing, and then it gets mastered the Monday after next. Crazy! Right after that, it gets shipped off to be duplicated and what not, but a lot of other stuff is going on in the meantime. Also, Alyssa is busy with the art side of things. The album artwork, the poster, and the t-shirt designs are looking great.

Post CommentWow! Thanks so much to everyone who supported us through this Kickstarter! Because of you, this record is going to sound much better and you're all gonna get the rewards you chose. Also, like I promised, since we reached our goal, Pi and I will be working on some acoustic videos for you guys so you can get a feel for the record before it comes out.
I'm gonna keep you guys updated as each of the rewards start coming along. I also wanna let you guys know every time the record hits a milestone on its way towards completion, the first update of which may be tonight or tomorrow.
