    We did it!

OMG, wow, I'm totally overwhelmed by the response to this idea—I'm so glad people think it's a cool project! We are 100% funded as of last night!

Now that this is happening, I've got to start cracking on making all these cool postcards and letters! But let's not stop here--I'll add a couple of extra story details if we hit $5000 and $10,000:

    **Bonus Rewards**

If we raise over $5000, we'll add a bonus item into the story! You'll get video content of M with you at Coney Island!

If we raise over $10,000, we'll add ANOTHER bonus item! Maybe a photograph of M, maybe a phone call. Something extra and cool.

I'm so so excited that you all have loved this idea as much as I do. And thank you so so so so much for your support!!!!!

    Over Halfway There!

Wow, everyone, thank you so much for your support of this project! It's been 48-hours since launch and we're halfway to making it happen already. I guess I should probably finish writing the story now, huh? ;)

I'm so thrilled that you guys are as excited by this idea as I am. And a big thank you to everyone who has shared the link on facebook, tweeted, emailed the link to your friends. I could still use your help on this, though, so if you have a friend who you'd think would totally dig this project, please let them know! Or tweet! Or post on facebook! Or all of the above, if you can. ;) I'd love to have a ton of people getting mail from 1930s Brooklyn.

Also, thanks to everyone who has expressed their condolences. Your kind words mean a lot to me. It's weird to have death so wrapped up in this project, but in some ways, I think it's fitting—Aaron was so much a part of every project, I think he needs to be a part of this one.
