Posted project update #1Home Stretch!
Hi Everyone,
With officially TWO WEEKS left to go to reach our goal and until we land in Park City, Utah for Sundance 2012, we are over 80% of the way there, thanks to all of you!
Even with the holidays and new years, we have been busy working to get the film ready to show the world. We have been working with The Lodge to complete all our audio needs - sound mixing, recording narration with amazingly talented actor Reg E. Cathey (The Wire), and getting a Dolby 5.1 surround mix. Also, we are working with Company 3 to complete our color and digital intermediate - Company 3 is responsible for the post-production on such blockbusters as Transformers, Star Trek, and Pirates of the Caribbean, to name a few. Needless to say, we are in AMAZING hands.
We are extremely excited to report that the film was also accepted to screen at the Rotterdam International Film Festival as well as the Santa Barbara International Film Festival!
So, with 14 days left, we still need all your help and support to get us to the finish line, and, hopefully far past it. All your donations will help pay for the amazing post-production work that is being done, fly the film around the world to screen at other amazing festivals, and allow us to deliver the best project possible. If you haven't already, or, if you are just feeling extra generous, please donate, continue to donate, or spread the word to friends, family and colleagues for them to donate.
Please tweet us, Facebook us, and email the word around. With your help, we WILL get there any day now! Thanks everyone for your continued support!
Kindest Regards, The Oversimplification Team
