Recording, producing, mixing - we love those things. However, since we're not business majors or marketing geniuses, this process of actually funding a release always calls for a little creativity and can be a little confusing. commented on a project updateExcellent. This is just the kind of feedback we were looking for. It's funny, the idea came up due to the surprising interest in all the demos we've put out there. I can totally get behind the idea of wanting to be surprised by the finished album. Would love to hear any other thoughts about this or alternate ideas. It's getting a bit tricky to come up with something novel. :)

Yeah, I had a change in living conditions, so $150 is too rich for my blood as well. But if I could, I'd definitely have been interested. Even if it's a culled version of the entire process (demos, instrumentals, early renditions of vocals, jams where you're just brainstorming musical ideas -- this would probably have been the most pleasing aspect of an experiment like this, because you wouldn't be time limited -- you could get very experimental [think: post rock or NIN's Ghosts]).
