Posted project update #3Time's running up...
Post CommentStrange thing that there can be so much support for a project, but so little financial support...
With only a little more than a week left, it looks like the goal won't be met. If you, someone you know, or anyone else was planning on pledging, now would be the time.

Posted project update #11Only 11 days left!
Post CommentWell, it looks like we're not going to make our mark.
Unfortunately, we may have to rethink our strategy and see if we can cut costs somewhere so that we'd need less funds to get it out if the funding doesn't come through here. The thing that really pumped the amount needed was the printing costs, and I suppose the hard facts these days is that physical printing just isn't as viable as it once was. So, if funding fails in 10 days, we'll recoup and look more into just doing PDFs and such.
If you want to see this book printed, please spread the word!
The big learning effort we've gone through in this process is advertising...getting the word out BEFORE putting the Kickstarter up, otherwise, without any money to fund advertising, you may just end up not making that mark.
It could also be due to timing as well, since we chose to launch during the period when everyone would probably be broke because of holiday purchases and too early for tax returns.
We're not going to give up!
We will find a way to finish this book, one way or another. It may just take longer, and we may need to take a second look at crowd-funding via other avenues. Who knows. We'll see how things turn out in the next week and go from there.
Thank you to everyone who supported the project up to this point!

Posted project update #9New pledge levels added!
Post CommentSo, taking on some suggestions made by backers, we've cleaned up the pledge levels:
We added in some PDF-only levels to help lower pricing, and streamlined a couple of the existing pledge levels.
We actually do listen to comments and suggestions, so keep them coming. We want you to be a part of the experience more than just pledging funds! Every little bit helps, even if it's just free advice!
Thanks!

Posted project update #8A NEW REWARD APPROACHES!!
Since there was interest expressed in the oil painting that we offered, and it went so quickly, we will be offering one FINAL one-of-a-kind OIL PAINTING pledge level. We also included the Standard Edition with this one.
After this painting is sold, there will be no more. Oil paintings aren't cheap.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
