commented on a project updateMy wife, Alicia, who does a majority of the technical work on the book, came down with pneumonia. As you probably saw in the video, she has a serious condition and so the recovery has taken longer than expected. We are still moving forward.

It has been a year since you all generously funded our comic. I am proud to announce that THE AMAZING FIST is ready to go to print.
By the middle of November the book should be out. Our next announcement will be a release party at a local comic shop near Stockton, CA.
I cannot stress enough how proud I am to have worked on this book with Frank and Matt. We have all had to work the book in around school, work, and odd jobs; some of us have had loved ones in and out of the hospital; some of the creative team has faced other personal crisis. But we’re finally on the other side. We made it guys. This is a huge win.
I want to take another moment to thank all of you who have waited patiently on this book. You’ve beared with us as we’ve learned valuable lessons which we will take with us the rest of our lives. You all will be getting your incentives as they are finished with a copy of the book. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Without you, this kid’s dream wouldn’t have come true

Post CommentWe're happy to report that the revisions of THE AMAZING FIST script are complete and the finalized script is now in the capable hands of Frank Stone!
Frank not only brought his incredible inking skills to THE AMAZING FIST, but he is also hand-lettering all of the pages. That means any text you see in issue one is not a computer generated font - Frank is actually writing out every word by hand.
After this process is complete, we will assemble the finalized pages and go to print!
