Thank you so much for your pledge to support The Kicker Movie as production is underway! Unfortunately, we came up short on our goal for this Kickstarter campaign, which means your credit card was not charged and we'll have to find funding another way.
But we really appreciate your support and encourage you to keep posted on our progress at www.kickermovie.com. We have completed more than 30 interviews so far, with many more on the books over the next several weeks. If you would still like to contribute, you can e-mail us at kickermovie@gmail.com and we'll give you the address to send a check.

Thank you so much for your support! We are 85% to our goal with only 4 days left. And remember, we only get the money if we hit our goal!
On other exciting news, we were nominated for the prestigious Webby Awards in two categories this week!
The Webby Awards recognize the best the internet has to offer, and it is a major national accolade even to be nominated. The best part is that the winners for the Webbys People’s Voice are determined by fan vote online! I would sincerely appreciate it if you would take just a couple minutes to vote for us in both categories. Here’s how to do it:

You need to register an account but it only takes two seconds, and every vote helps restore the Sonics’ legacy by getting the word out about our grassroots film and the growing movement behind it. It is really amazing that we have gained so much momentum after making this feature documentary in four months and putting it up on online for free with no sponsorship or outside distribution.
Now we need people to rally more than ever and vote us to victory at the Webby Awards! Be sure to vote in both the “Best Editing” and “Sports” categories… and if you have multiple e-mail addresses, feel free to stuff the ballot box ;-)
We also have plans to take the film national with a New York theatrical premiere next week and a special selection to the Park City Film Fest in Utah next month. As you know, to pay for our travel expenses we have started this Kickstarter Fundraising Campaign that is 85% funded with only 4 days to go!

Thank You Jason, Adam, Colin and the whole Team for making such a great telling of the Sonics tragic end. Living out of state (in Blazer-land no less) it felt even harder to watch as no one around seemed to care or really even take notice, so I tuned it out. Watching this film was a great way of finally seeing how it all happened. If we get VIP tix to the screening but cannot use them can I pass them off to my friend in NYC? Don't worry he's an OG Sonics fan and would represent fully! Thanks again guys!
