Posted project update #6Rewards Update
Post CommentHello everyone!
I know that our filmmaker, Ben Stechshulte, has been posting the updates so far, but on behalf of Adirondack Harvest I wanted to personally thank everyone for their donations and commitment to make this film a reality. We were overwhelmed with your support and are now gearing for the next phases, namely putting the final touches on the film and sending out all the rewards!
While Ben and Mountain Lake PBS finish up the film, I will be working on shipping the rewards. I want to assure you that this will happen as soon as possible but ask for your patience as it all depends upon two factors: One, Amazon payments needs to release the Kickstarter funds, which takes about two weeks. And two, the particular reward(s) associated with your pledge may require more time. For example, if your pledge involved receiving a Small Farm Rising DVD it will take just a bit longer because we are still a few weeks away from producing the DVDs. Other rewards are available immediately. I promise to ship everything as soon as they becomes available!
Thanks again, and look for news about the premier date coming soon!

Post CommentHello All!
There is a screening of Three Farms tonight at the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, New York. If you’re in the area, please come by, the Fenimore Art Museum Auditorium doors open at 6:30pm and the screening is free.

Post-production of Small Farm Rising is going well. Look for an update next week with new information regarding the edit and June screening dates.
The pledge figure continues to grow! The additional funds raised for the project help to make a better film with higher production value, and to widen our promotional reach.
See you tonight in Cooperstown!
Thank you,

Posted project update #23/4 On Friday
Hello Everyone,
A quick update from the Small Farm Rising KICKSTARTER campaign to say WOW!!! and Thank You All!! Support for the project has been absolutely overwhelming! Pledges are coming in from all over the country. After three days we are nearly 3/4 of the way to our goal. (I’m trying not to use so many exclamation points but it’s difficult!)
It’s Friday and that means pizza at Dogwood Bakery in Wadhams!, New York. If you live nearby, I’ll see you there tonight. Bring questions about the film and an appetite for some of the best food in the North Country.
Thank you again for supporting Small Farm Rising,
Ben Stechschulte

Posted project update #1First 24 Hours
Hello Everyone,
As flood waters rise all over the North Country, swallowing roads, filling basements (mine in particular), saturating farmers' fields, and threatening bridges, I too am completely overwhelmed by the deluge of generosity by backers who have pledged nearly $2500 in first 24 hours of our KICKSTARTER endeavor. Thank you all so much.
Please stay tuned for additional information and updates in coming weeks. Your support is wind at our backs during this final big push to bring Small Farm Rising to the screen.
Thank you again,
Ben Stechschulte
