Please excuse my online absence over the past several months. I’ve had my nose to the grindstone and working hard on the CD, but you’ve never been far from my thoughts. I still feel the blessing of your Kickstarter contribution, love, and support every single day.
So … how is your new year going so far? 2011 brought many changes for me and 2012 is going to be an equally exciting one! I am looking forward to bringing the new music to you! There will be a big CD release and I’ll be streaming live so those of you out-of-state and country can join in! I’ll keep you apprised!
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be posting all the lyrics and demos to the Beautiful and Burdened Blog, so please check in and give it a look and a listen … oh yeah … and subscribe if you like!
I’ll also be collecting addresses, T-shirt sizes, etc. so I can send your rewards!

Post CommentSo, allow me to shout it from the highest mountain! THANK YOU! Wow ... I am feeling so blessed right now! 7 Days, 8 Backers, 11 Percent, 550 Smackers! That's a beautiful beginning and I thank you for your support, friendship, and your pledges. Many of you have shared my Kickstarter video and link on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and more ... and believe me, that helps tremendously! Thank you for continuing to get the word out. I'm so excited about making this album. The word "passionate" gets thrown around a lot, but I can't find a more fitting word to describe how I feel about writing and recording these songs and sharing them with you.
Aside from launching the Kickstarter project , I've also launched the "Beautiful and Burdened Project" blog, I've sent each of you a private link and hope you will visit often (and subscribe for daily or weekly updates) to listen to demos, read the stories behind the lyrics, participate in some discussions, and share a secret or two! I also took an afternoon to tour Audyssey Studios in Oklahoma City and recorded three demos that you will find at the blog.
Next week, I'll have the new website up with a page dedicated to you, the backers of my new album! I'll also be visiting Paige Sound Recording and chatting with some musicians who are interested! (fingers crossed!)
