Tonight is the night! At 9pm, Duke & The King makes its premiere at the Nashville Film Festival! Because we got in on a work-in-progress cut, no one -- not the media, not festival staff, not even our own families -- has seen the finished film but us. Because of that, there's little to no buzz for the film. We're flying low under the radar, but that's a good place to be for a strategic bombing run. In this case, a Twitter bomb. This is where you, our supporters, come in. If you are on Twitter, post something today (or several times today) using the hashtags #DukeAndTheKing and #NaFF2012. Something like this: "Hey Nashville, you need to show up at 9 tonight for #DukeAndTheKing at #NaFF2012!" You can also go the Nashville Film Festival page on Facebook and show your support there. Post Comment... will start going out this week! Finally! ... Sorry for the delay, but we've had a few holdups. We had to get up with Duke to get autographs on the CDs and posters ... we accomplished that over the weekend. However, we are still waiting on shipping addresses and t-shirt sizes for many of you! Without your help, we never would have met our Kickstarter goal. You deserve your rewards! So, please take a minute and send us your mailing address (if you haven't done so already), and your t-shirt size (if you qualify for one). We plan to order the t-shirts soon, so if you're among those who qualify for a t-shirt, we'll need to hear from you no later than Jan. 31.
In the meantime, we've decided to go ahead start mailing out the other rewards (minus t-shirts, and the film of course .. which won't be available until it's released).
We would also like to encourage you to continue spreading the good word about Duke & The King, and Duke's new live album, "You & I," which is the soundtrack to the film. Below are links to where the CD can be purchased ... Please consider sharing the links with your friends on Facebook!
