Awesome question -- we are hoping that we don't have to exclude anyone. It's one of the tough Puzzle Clubhouse questions -- if majority rules, do we have to keep kids away? We are really hoping for all-ages participation -- but it will all come down to what the members prefer.

    Voting, Forums, and More!

    Hi Puzzle Pals!

Things are chugging along... we've got some wireframes of the voting system to share with you, as you can see below!

Each door on the main voting page leads to a different room of Puzzle Clubhouse, where there are different submissions to vote on. Voting takes place in multiple rounds, and an submission can get through to the next round by either being one of the top-voted submissions in its room or by being one of the top-voted entries overall.

Puzzle Clubhouse is going to need tons of different doors, so start thinking about what crazy spaces you want to see. Don't tell us just yet -- once we get the submission system up and running we'll have a call for content and a vote. Your idea might become a Puzzle Clubhouse room!

We've also been talking a lot about forums and commenting. We want everyone to be able to comment on Puzzle Clubhouse episodes, discuss each other's submissions, message one another directly, and talk about all kinds of stuff in the forums. It should be easy to search the forums for whatever topics interest you. We also want the forums to support fun stuff, like badges that appear alongside your name based on the cool things you've done.

Do you use forum systems, post original work online to get comments, or comment on other people's work? What do *you* want to see in the Puzzle Clubhouse forum and commenting systems? Let us know!

Great to have an update, guys. I just checked the PCH pitch again, but can't find a reference to the target audience. What sort of minimum ages are we expecting to contribute using this system?

Great. We can always restrict contribution (if we really need to, retrospectively) via the distribution and earning of clubhouse points. But it does mean therefore the system itself needs to be operable by all ages at the design stage. Before I even got to ask my 33yr old girlfriend what she thought, she said "ooh, that looks complicated". The amount of description/keys needed probably backs that up. Got any kids there at Schell to try it out on? :)

    An Update From Beyond

    Hi Puzzle Pals!

Lots is happening! The prizes have now all been mailed out, people have been hired, and design is proceeding nicely. We still need artists and animators, though, so if you know someone, tell them to send their info to resumes@schellgames.com. Lots more info, and a supernatural guest in the video below!

Hi Adriana! Most of the prize packages have gone out already, the lower tiers having been sent out last week. The higher tiers are going out this Friday - so look for your prize package as soon as next week! Thanks for your patience as we gathered all of the prizes and got all of our ducks in a row - we really appreciate it!

    Prize Packages

    Hey Puzzle Pals!

We wanted to send out an update to let you all know that the prize packages are being assembled even as we speak! We apologize for the time it has taken but we needed to hunt people down to get their signatures for some of the awesome books we're sending out.

The T-Shirts also came in a couple of days ago so we'll be assembling the packages and sending them out soon!

For those of you who are patiently waiting for the design meetings to begin - we'll be setting those up as soon as episode production kicks off. Rest assured not a single one of you has been forgotten and we are super pumped about working alongside you to create new games, stories, and characters - just as soon as we get the site up and running!

Thanks for your continued patience and your support. You all have been really awesome and we're excited to see where you take us next!
