We closed at $4350!!!
I promised that, if we reached $4500, I would write a song about this fund raising experience and include the names of everyone who pledged. While we didn't reach that amount online, I will say that I was give a couple of cash donations over the weekend. Was it enough? Watch Monday's video update to find out!

Just wanted to let you know the good news - the Kickstarter GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED! 104% funded!

If you were planning to pledge but haven't yet, there are still 18 days left to contribute and receive cool stuff. :)
Through the kindness of friends giving me special studio rates, the $2500 goal will fund *most* of the tracking for the album, but if we raise enough money, we can fund the ENTIRE project through donations from awesome people like you - from all of the tracking, to mixing, to mastering, and promotion once the record is out. Help spread the word and I will be your BFF 4-eva!!

I have to start by saying that you guys are awesome!! We have reached 88% of the Kickstarter goal to fund the recording of my next solo album! Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far, and to those of you who have been forwarding these videos and the link to my Kickstarter fund raising page. I love you guys. :)
Now... It's Monday afternoon, so do you know what that means?
Yep, I've uploaded a video blog in my weekly series documenting the making of my fourth solo record!

It's still early in this process of making the record, so I decided to take a couple of questions this week, as well as show you where I record all of my home demos.
Future videos will include footage from the recording studio when we start tracking the album, as well as updates about the record as they happen!
Next week's video will be shot from San Antonio, as I'll be in Texas for Christmas. :)
