Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I think the biggest part of this is the transparency. I would be much happier if they would have just told me about the problems up front and in a timely manner. Arthur - I wanted it to be the last step in the process so you know when I've shipped your cards and my letter can really speak to the process. Sort of a celebratory and triumphant bru-haha. But I'm willing to reconsider both the digital cards and the posters out ahead of the cards as they are on track and my first large shipment came in earlier this week. Would love to hear what people have to say about this. Daniel - Thanks for the metric. It's always nice to hear about other projects. I've found that most places can do standard poker sizes but since mine are custom, my options were more limited. Still great to hear the numbers and sorry about the quality.

Posted project update #15Posterlicious
Ahoy Folks!

Some awesome news! I just received the printed poster proofs for the project. They look great so I thought I would show you a few pictures.

(yes, those are wooden hexes that have been laser cut and they're just holding down the curled edges.)

The astute backer will notice that some of the images sport my signature. While I was illustrating the cards, I thought it might be a cool idea to incorporate my signature into the works themselves, rather than in the classic upper or lower hand corner. What do you think? Do we like? I'm not 100% sure if I'll run with it, but I thought it would be a great way to practice before I receive the final prints.

I also wanted to mention that the signature was done with the awesome X-pen that I helped back here on Kickstarter. It really is a fine looking pen so I thought I would share it.

Again, I think the posters turned out great! Once I approve these bad boys, all that is left is the printed card proofs which should arrive sometime next week. Until then!
Cheers,
-Sarah

I think I would like to revise my choice of digital cards ... now I'd like - all - of them.
Can't wait :-) -

Are the month posters coming from WPC or just the cards?
Oh, I see now that my question doesn't really matter since the posters are on-track. I'd be happy to have them sent out now if they're ready.
have the digital cards been sent out? I haven't gotten mine, so I was curious about that. Also, do you have any dates on when the card sets might be shipped out? I'm sorry you're having a hard time with the printers. I am looking forward to getting the cards. :)
