Posted project update #17Promoting the Book, App and Yes YoYo's
Post CommentHello all
So much has been happening with the "Yin the Master of YO!" book. I had to share all of the good news with those who've supported my concept here on Kickstarter. Without your help and positive feedback I couldn't imagine where all this could go. Since successfully raising funds on Kickstarter, we've launched an app in the apple store based on the book and collaborated with YoYofactory to produce a limited edition Yin "Sureshot" yoyo. We also Launched our official Pixel Pirate Studio Website. Swing on over and see what has evolved from what originally was just a book concept. I am so grateful to each and every one of you for believing in my dreams and helping me spark the fuse.
Yours Truly
Saxton Moore

Posted project update #16Yin the Master of YO! Game teaser
Post CommentHi all
I know it's been a while, but I just wanted to keep my Kickstarter peeps in the loop. Thanks to your previous support, we were able to successfully print the YMY book, which was only the beginning. I'm not asking for any funding on this next project, only your feedback and support. I've just posted a teaser clip of our "Yin the Master of Yo" game app which will be making it's debut this holiday season. The video below still doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but just enough to give you an inside peek. Take a look, leave some comments and spread the word. Once released, the app will be FREE (yep that's right FREE) to download to your iphone/ ipod touch and android. Enjoy!

Post CommentHowdy!
Well, its been a fun ride but it seems that there is only a few days left for the fundraiser leg of our journey. I want to thank everybody that donated to the cause and express how much it has meant to me personally to get as much support as I did for this project, you all are beyond awesome! and though it seems we won't meet our ambitious kickstarter goal, do not fret, we will still be pressing forward with the pilot episode of Epic Abraham in 1 minute installments in the near to immediate future...so keep those eyes peeled. With that said, here is the final post, a fast paced preview of the scenes we have worked on over the past few months. It's been fun and thanks so much again for your support and interest in Epic Abraham and look for us at New York Comic-con!
Cheers!

Post CommentMonsters! Ghosts! Demons and Ghouls! Here is a peek at some of the creatures and spirits that haunt the world of Epic Abraham. While a big chunk of the story deals with the barbaric nature of men during the middle of the 1800's, an even bigger chunk is dedicated to the superstitious beliefs of the time period. This was a time when people were afraid of what might lurk in the woods and ghost stories were told around every camp fire. So here is a handful of harpies, hungry ghosts, rampaging ogres and other unsavory monstrosities of the nefarious American back woods.

I figure while I am here I could give you a little heads up on what you will be getting into with Hardin County.
So... The pilot episode introduces us to the shadowy stranger known only as Abraham and setting up the dark times in which he travels.
We enter the desperate times of 1824
The Buford Company has set up its traveling fair on the outskirts of the famished Hardin County.
Of all the many entertainments and novelties, none drew in a larger crowd that those who wished to catch a seat at the bare knuckle boxing tournament that is held there every year. None can match the might of the side shows strong man, The Kentucky Frankenstein, an ogreish monstrosity known throughout the territories.
All who enter the tournament fall to the giant until a vagrant named Abraham enters the fight.
Beaten, betrayed and tossed into a ditch to die by the fairgrounds crooked manager Pork Belly Pete Buford, Abraham follows close behind, hell bent on bringing down Pork Belly's seedy criminal enterprise, take out his hillbilly gang of misfit cronies and get his goddamned shoes back...all out of principal of course.*****PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AROUND (We'd gladly appreciate it). ALSO FEEL FREE TO LEAVE COMMENTS TO LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK (we love feedback from our supporters and fans)*****
