I would like to inform you that the design for the cards, the posters, the mugs, the information booklet, t-shirts, stickers etc have been completed. For those of you who haven't given me your address, please send it to ask@ripvanwafels.com For those of you who will be receiving t-shirts, please give me your size preference: S M L or XL ------------------- The $15 pledge prize winners are: Casra LaBelle, Meredith and J.T. Tepnapa These winner will be receiving prizes assigned to the $30 pledge class. The $30 pledge winners: Chris Grossman, Daniel Douglas, Toni Alimi These winner will be receiving prizes assigned to the $30 pledge class. ----------------- I will mail off the $15 and $30 prizes by the end of the week. To My Loyal Supporters,
I had a dream. I had a dream that one day, Dutch and American children could walk hand in hand eating stroopwafels. I had a dream that one day, cookies and caramel would finally come together and no one would question why.
Once upon a time, when old New York was once New Amsterdam, and Peter Stuyvesant was more than just a street, our cultures were as one. In this new era of global communication, I invite you all to commune with me, and share in the bounty of our Original Dutch heritage.
When I woke up at the age of twenty, I knew that dreaming was not enough. When I began baking in my dorm kitchen, I had visions of grandeur. I knew if given the opportunity I had a gift I could share with all inclined to indulge.
Thank you all for your overwhelming support. Thank you for your faith, and thank you for your generosity. You have shown me that this task is worth fighting for, and have reaffirmed for me the pleasure of that first bite of Stroopwafel, sweeter still when shared.When I set my Kickstarter goal at $22,105, I knew if I received the chance, I could set my dream in motion. Thank you for making that possible, and for helping craft the foundation on which I will build. I owe you that.
I will receive the donated funds in two weeks, and with a new space set up, and the first stages of production underway, the gift you have given me is more vital now than ever.

Posted project update #8The New Rip van Wafels Stroopwafel !
Since the 14th century, waffle makers used to imprint original designs on their waffle plates in order to make their waffles more authentic. - I have been dreaming of carving an Original Dutch Lion in my waffle iron for a while now and thanks to this day's modern technology, my dream has finally been realized.
Please observe the new stroopwafel and waffle plate below!
