Posted project update #2Frkwys: Holy hot freaks!
Wow. Yesterday was seriously insane, folks. Thanks SO MUCH to all of our new and old Rvng friends (and fiends) who came through on the pledges / purchases.
Although we've hit our goal, we're still accepting pledges. And why not ensure you're able to secure the Frkwys mp3, 12", or 12" series subscription now rather then sweating the possibility of a sold out pressing later?
Oh, we like the mp3 subscription idea too. Let us ponder for a few....

Posted project update #1Frkwys audio sample: Stretch (JG Thriwell Rework)
Post CommentWow. We're definitely getting down to the wire on this one....
Over the next week we'll be posting audio samples from the Excepter 12" for y'all to check out.
Today's sample is JG Thirwell's reworking of Excepter's "Stretch" from their 2008 album Debt Dept. It's a frenetic, percussive workout that JG recorded at Self Immolation Studios in Brooklyn, NY with drummer Jeff Davidson and various wood and wind players. If you've followed JG's work as Foetus on through Manorexia and scoring The Adventure Brothers, this will surely excite.
Look for an accompanying video soon. Thanks for keeping an eye on the project.
