Posted project update #28ARCTIC- the after school band and shows
yesterday fiona finally started working on the shirts- they are kind of unbelievable. Today she had her first concert with her afterschool band- it's a rock school thing- they killed it- and she made a shirt for herself to mark the occasion.Post Comment

I just got a question about the books. I have given the slides to the designer. He was going to get them scanned in Germany in November, but his trip got delayed till January. He has basically designed the book and now needs to professionally scan and re layout the book. As soon as that is done I will send the project to the printer. It should realistically be a three month turn around to get it printed and shipped by boat- They will go out ASAP!
We have been a little bit overwhelmed by our other kickstarter project, "Battle for Brooklyn". The film was short listed for an Oscar- so keep your eyes out on Tuesday to see if it gets a nomination. We were showing the film in Washington DC last week and went to the Hirschorn where I snapped a few Mall like images.
Thanks for your patience. I assure that the books are in the works and will be fantastic.

commented on a projectSam- I will post an update - but the designer has the slides and he has roughly designed the book. I am waiting as anxiously as you for him to finish. He's a top tier designer so he's a bit busy- but very excited about the project. It will be top of the line. I apologize for the delays.

I am sorry that you didn't get the final nomination despite even beating the deadline for the funding by two days. It still would have been nice especially with all the great reviews. Then again, not winning an Academy Award doesn't make it the end of the world, and I know plenty of films that won this as well as an Oscar that weren't that good. Honestly, I really felt that the NY Times snubbed you by picking Pardise 3 over you. As long as you continue to show the film despite not making it, I am with you all the way.
