Hi Roger. Groundloop Records is an existing company owned by one of the members of the Rooftop Concert Series committee. When you set up a Kickstarter account, you are asked to enter financial and banking information and that's the one we are using for Kickstarter. Everything raised here will be used ONLY for the Rooftop Concerts.

Rooftop Concert
Posted project update #1Thank you, and, what's next
Thank you SO much for helping us raise our initial goal of $5,000. We feel so grateful for your financial contribution.
Even though we have reached our Kickstarter goal, we continue to use all the help we can get. (Maybe we can raise $10,000?) We're planning 6 concerts in 2012 and each one of them costs about $5000 to produce. The amount we raise here is a small portion of our total budget. So tell your friends, help spread the word, every little bit helps.
Thank you for supporting and for being a fan of the Rooftop Concert Series.

hi, you may or may not know how Charity Navigator does ratings on charities -- it makes people feel more comfortable or comfortable enough to donate to a cause -- http://www.charitynavigator.org/ I don't know if they charge anything for such a review or audit but i'm thinking that if you can't do that, then maybe you could put up a balance sheet from one of your recent concerts as to the breakdown of the "about $5000 to produce"? i certainly would be more likely to donate more if i saw that. thanks!
