New CD by Ronnie Shellist is almost ready!!

Just a quick update!  The CD, as of minutes ago, has just been mastered!  For those of you who don't know what that means, it means that all that is left to do is replicate packaging/CDs...couple weeks out!  Can't wait to mail them out to everyone who has pre-ordered a CD!!  Shouldn't be too much longer now.  Meanwhile, I have attached a photo of the front cover of the CD for you to check out.

    Just back from the studio

I have just finished recording the new CD "Till Then"!   I decided to change the title of the CD from "Knockin" to "Till Then" which had more personal meaning to me.  It is off to mixing and then mastering in January.  I am very pleased with what we captured in the studio and can't wait to share it with everyone.  It was exhausting but we had a blast cutting the tunes and I'm proud of what we accomplished.

It is an amazing thing to watch these songs come to life in the studio.  The musicians on the CD: Gerry Hundt: guitar/mandolin, Bob Carter: drums, Todd Edmunds: bass and Jeremy Vasquez: guitar really made this CD shine.  If it were not for the quality of musicians that surrounded me, the CD wouldn't be the same.

Again, I can't wait to get the final product in your hands soon.  If things continue at this pace with few hiccups, I am on track to releasing the CD in March as planned.   Thanks again for making this possible!!  I am including a photo from the studio of us working on one of the acoustic tracks.

    Sincerely,

    Ronnie Shellist

Heading to the studio before the year is out!

Just want to let everyone know that I'll be hitting the studio very soon.  I'm very excited and will try to keep you informed on the progress of the CD as it moves along.  After the holidays, the CD will go through it's final mix and then off to mastering.  I hope that by early February I will be able to begin the production of the CDs so I can get them in your hands sooner than later.  Along the way, I'll be working out the final details of CD layout, artwork/photography etc.  So, perhaps I'll have some things to share with everyone soon!

    Sincerely

    Ronnie Shellist

Final Countdown: less than 24hrs to go!

Thank you everyone and remember that if you still want to share my Kickstarter page or haven't pledged yet yourself, it's not too late.

Here's what I plan on doing with the money that goes over my pledge goal:

    • additional promotion, marketing, and advertising for the CD
    • bonus tracks on the CD (if time permits)
    • artwork for the CD (please contact me if you are interested or have referrals)
    • feed the band a real meal, not just sub sandwiches
    • cover expenses that I have yet to realize will be coming my way

Thanks again.  I look forward to mailing out CDs and fulfilling all of the other rewards very soon.

    Sincerely,

    Ronnie Shellist

    100% funded!

We did it!  Big thanks to everyone who has pledged.  It's still not too late to pledge or pick up a new incentive.  I have until 12pm MST on Wednesday November 30th before the pledge drive is done and I could use every penny.  I know there will be last minute expenses that come up related to the project.  Thanks again.  I can't wait to get this CD recorded!

    Sincerely,

    Ronnie
