Posted project update #2Time for miracles
Post CommentSo it's down to 66 hours, huh? All I can do is hang in and hope/pray for a miracle.
I believe in this project and it's a tale that should be told. It's difficult to reach people, and I know the economy is down right now. I'll just go hard, go for broke, go for the gusto, and blast on thru, no matter what. Art is creation that moves the world.
Best to everyone out there who has followed this project, whatever happens. -

Posted project update #1Westbound Tracks
Post CommentJust back from a wild and hot 10 days in Flagstaff, Arizona, with side trips to the Grand Canyon and to Barstow, California. Captured some additional shots for the hoped-for Volume 2. My books are dynamic; they are in play and subject to alteration until the final version goes to press.
While away in Arizona, I revised, again, the intro for Volume 1.
As we hit Day 39 until the book-backing deadline arrives, I still have only one backer -- I don't know the identity of this backer, but I sincerely appreciate the support, whatever happens. If you care to contact me, I will at least get you some of my postcards, including the new one now being printed to correspond with the WESTBOUND TRACKS project. Thanks again! Hit or miss, I('m a happy man and feel blessed to have this shot at another book. KICKSTARTER is a great concept.
Take care everybody; more later. ~ D. C. Jesse Burkhardt, July 23 -
