Post CommentDear Sarajevo Roses community,
Well, we now have only 22 days to go. When we started we had a bit over 60 days, and time has really flown by. I am so very grateful for your taking the time and effort to back our film. We have now reached a critical stage that will determine if we make it to our $15,000 minimum goal.
We are beginning to receive attention in a number of places, thanks to the outreach of our new associate producer, Samir Dobric, who has brought a huge amount of energy and ideas to the project. Please continue to spread the word about Sarajevo Roses. I just wish you all to know how humbled I am that we have made it this far, and without your help this would have not been possible.
Please do not hesitate to email me with any ideas you might have as to how we can make these last couple of weeks a memorable and successful one for our project.
All the best, and thanks again.
Roger

Post CommentDear Sarajevo Roses community,
We are just 37 days away from our deadline of June 30. Thanks to a lot of work and a lot of generosity from our friends, today we stand at 14% funding, or $2149. Just another 86% to go.
Our immediate goal is to reach 25%. Your efforts really count. Please continue to spread the word of our campaign. The amazing thing about what we are doing is that this is part of a new wave of filmmaking and community building. Instead of the old way, where films seemed to be produced by people behind a curtain, to allow important topics to come to light we must work together to make it happen.
I am deeply grateful for all you have done. We are still a long way from home but I am confident that we will get there.
Yours,
Roger

Post CommentDear Sarajevo Roses community,
Thanks to your support we have moved up to $1697 (11%) funding, but still have $13,303 to go in 44 days. Please continue to spread the word of our film by mouth, on Twitter and by posting it on your Facebook wall. We have a long way to go but I know we can do it with the support of you and your friends.
I received some new music for the film from Asim recently, and so our audio soundscapes are really coming together well. These pieces of music are original and will help create a unique musical atmosphere for Sarajevo Roses. Because they are composed and played by Asim they fit beautifully with the film's narrative.
Please remember that Kickstarter rules are that we do not keep any pledges from our backers unless we reach our goal of $15,000. It is all or nothing. I am confident we will make it, but we need your help with outreach to other possible backers.
Our next benchmark is getting to 15%, or $2250. Then we go for 25%. Statistics show that projects that can reach 25% with some time to go are 90% successful.
Thanks for your support!
Roger

Post CommentHello friends,
Thanks so much for your support of our film. We are still on track to meet our goal, at 6% funding with $14,035 to go. Much of the action really begins in the latter stages of a campaign, but we have to a lot of work in the interim to raise awareness. Please send out word of our film to your friends and colleagues, and I would really appreciate if you would post a link to our campaign on your Facebook wall or via Twitter. The way Kickstarter works is that we keep money that has been pledged only if we meet our goal of $15,000. It is all or nothing at all.
All the best, and thanks again!
