Post Comment31 Chorales has Arrived!
Friends,
After an exhaustive and rewarding year of work it is with great pride and pleasure that I release my second full-length album "31 Chorales". Though it took longer than anticipated to release, I wanted to get everything just right before I shared it with you.
As a backer, you will be emailed by a personal message from me within the next few hours with download instructions. Make note of the password that is included, it's your key to downloading the file *cue spy music*.
As a bonus for your patience, I'm offering free upgrades to the physical CD version of the album. Instructions will be contained in my email to you.
Thank you to all my Kickstarter backers who helped make this recording a reality. I remain touched by your support and am proud and delighted by the result.
With warmth,
Rob Mosher -

Posted project update #34So Close!
Friends!
Audio mastering for the 31 Chorales album is so close to completion I can almost taste it. Thank you all for your patience as I tweak every aspect of this album to make it as good as it can be. There's so much that goes into and album beyond the composing like recording, editing, mixing, mastering, artwork, press releases and publicity. I'm looking forward to getting the album into your thirsty hands shortly! Some news:
I'll be play-testing the Chorales at a high school in Montana in preparation for a book aimed at school wind ensembles and other instrumentations. Of course the music is appropriate for professional ensembles as well.
Petr Cancura has featured a photograph of my raw scores as the backdrop to his blog at http://canjazz.blogspot.com/ . He's got some interesting things to say you should check it out.
I'm grateful as ever for your support in this project. It's led to much musical and personal growth.
I've included the album artwork and another track as a thanks for your patience.
Peace
Rob

Posted project update #33Almost Done! Off to Audio Mastering
Post CommentGreetings from Montana and happy summer everybody!
Quick note to say thanks again for your support and that I've completed editing the 31 Chorales album. It's now been shipped off for audio mastering (which helps it sound rich and warm) and it should be completed in 4-6 weeks. Once this is done you'll receive your digital copy of the album! So shiny!
I'm deeply grateful for all of your contributions - none of this would have been possible without your help. With my thanks I've included the recorded version of Chorale #29 as a teaser.

Posted project update #32Tomorrow’s the Big Day!
Three months of logistics and rehearsals later, the 31-Chorales project is finally ready to record this Friday and Saturday! We’ll be playing inside a beautiful church near Cold Spring, NY with a great vibe and amazing acoustics. Mr. Marlan Barry will be recording the session and we’d like to thank our GPS TomTom in advance for getting us there safely.
Thanks again to all of our Kickstarter contributors – this project would not have been possible without you!
After the recording we’ll be editing, mixing and mastering the album which should take another month or two before release. I’ll be in touch before then with another update and maybe a surprise or two if we have time during the recording session…

We will be thinking of you, Rob, as you record/edit/produce the CD. We are immensely proud of you with this project. Just think back to Greenwood days when you first began music lessons. You have come such a long way. Congratulations!
Love from us both,Ann and Stan

Re: Album Art
Very nice! This has a delightful feel to it... understated, simple rendering that lets structural complexity show through.
Looking forward to listening to the track when I get home, and the album as well when it is available.
