Much has happened since our last update in November and I want to apologize for the lapse in communication on the project. I'm very excited to report that we are in the final stages of completing Light the Water! More specifically, Robin has finished the final edit of the film and it is looking amazing, and runs about 20 minutes! Once we finish color correction, all of the visual elements will be complete. Please take a look at the attached poster!
Also of note, due to a scheduling conflict back in January, Thao (of Thao and the Get Down Stay Down) was unable to continue working on the soundtrack. It was a challenge to rise to, but my band FOTOS (formed last year with friend Tomo Saito) worked through the early-Spring months composing a score for the film, which turned out well. In February, Robin and I began working with Patrick Fitzgerald, the Senior Engineer at Polarity Post Production (http://www.polaritypost.com/) who is designing, syncing and mastering our sound as we speak! Patrick has been incredible to work with and once the sound is done (we're hoping by the end of May), we will be very excited to share the film with you!
We haven't forgotten about your gifts! One of the main reasons for writing this update is to gather everyone's info for getting you a copy of the DVD and accompanying swag. If you all could send us your home addresses at your earliest convenience, we promise to send the goods!

b. Olympia, WA 1983. Robin received a BA in Theatre at the University of Missouri and an MFA in Film at the San Francisco Art Institute. She is currently living in San Francisco as a free lance editor and videographer.
