Post CommentThanks for making the Kickstarter funding of this project a true success!
We're now finally casting the lead actors in the film, and getting ready to scout for the principal shooting locations in the suburbs of Greater Los Angeles, and also are in the midst of the complete crewing of the film. We will be accepting cast and crew headshots and/or resumes, and are excited about beginning this cinematic endeavor.
Thanks again for your support. We won't let you down!

Post CommentWe're proud to announce that Brian McGuire (Director of "ON HOLIDAY", Writer of "EVERYTHING WILL HAPPEN BEFORE YOU DIE", and Star of "In Search Of A Midnight Kiss") has come on-board as one of the directors on "EXQUISITE"!
Also I'm hard at work on the official pitch video, which will go up before the end of the weekend. It should be very interesting to say the least.
We're getting ready to go out-of-pocket to get started this month with Adam Wingard's chapter of the film, which should be quite amazing, no doubt.
Also David Rosiak and I are in the fast but beginning stages of laying out the script/outline foundation for this very, very revolutionary and cool cinematic endeavor.

Post CommentTruly talented and well-known young animator and designer, David Kolodny-Nagy, is on-board to craft and create the opening title sequence for "Exquisite". This animated title sequence will also serve as the prologue to the film!
Exciting stuff! Now, let's make it happen.

Posted project update #2HOW THE PROJECT WORKS (Just so you know the idea!)
Post CommentHOW IT WORKS:
A minimum of $10,000 is to be raised to complete the production and post-production budget of the film.
Each director attached to the film will receive a minimum of $1,000 from the money raised to direct their 8-10 minute chapter in the film.
The film will tell a continuous story that is outlined from beginning to end by a very unique script, but will be told in mindblowing chapters with a different and new cast and crew each time. All the while, the story moves along in a linear fashion following the tragic exploits of the film's two central characters, Jack and Jill.
The Length:
120 MINUTES.
The Artistic Medium:
HD 1080 24P
The Release:
Premiere at international film festivals, then be released in a limited US theatrical screening run or tour, followed by a wide US and subsequent world release on DVD, VOD, and other media formats of distribution. Distribution has already been guaranteed for US release through Cinema Epoch. This is technically a first-look deal, but we are already gathering offers for distribution.
For You BY You:
The film is being made for you. This is a unique project that has never been explored before. The cast of the film, and its locations will change from chapter to chapter in the film, but the story will move forward in a linear pattern similarly to films like Todd Solondtz's "Palindromes" and Todd Haynes' "I'm Not Here". The difference is that our film will be even more visual, more experimental, and more unusual than anything you've ever seen before. Assembling a team of very well-known, award-winning, and also quickly upcoming Cult and Arthouse genre filmmakers, I believe that the viewer will be rewarded with a film that just gets better and better with every added viewing.
