The Company of Thieves screened on Sunday the 15th at 1PM to a SOLD OUT, over-capacity crowd at the Festival! After arranging for some folding chairs to accomodate extra people, the handful of films by women directors, including Thieves, experienced a warm and friendly reception from San Francisco film goers.

The THIEVES festival premiere is coming up soon in March at the opening night of the Portland Women’s Film Festival (POW Fest)! Then THIEVES will also screen in April at the San Francisco International Women’s Film Festival. If you’re in Portland or San Francisco during the fests, come check out the film on the big screen, and make sure to let all your friends know! Here are the dates:

Posted project update #1708.28 Premiere Success! Now for Festivals...

Last weekend was a success! A large crowd came to see the COMPANY OF THIEVES Portland Premiere, including some of our wonderful cast, crew and Kickstarter contributors. There were enthusiastic reactions from all around; the words "impressive" and "incredible" were used often, people did not expect such a great movie from just a short film! Everyone loved the T-shirts and posters: we sold several as well, and continue to sell them!
After the screening, we had a really fun Question & Answer session with the audience, then brought the attending cast to the front to answer questions as well. Then the remaining cast, crew, contributors and family sauntered over to Columbia River Brewing to comfortably enjoy some drinks and food and talk about the success of the film.
