I didn't understand your comment on not being released as open source. All I can really say is look on the main page where it says that this is open source. TakeDownCon organizers are expecting me to release it there as well. I think they would be very disappointed if I did not do as I set out to do since Day 1.

Oops, my post was truncated... I also said that PlugBot is not made up of hardware only. It's the custom code and the mobile hardware that makes it unique.

David, uffda! Yes my company has paid for the domain name and other minor expenses. But the goal here was to raise funds to make a bulk purchase that would enable a cheaper price (hardware) and have the manufacturer pre-load software m not really sure what else to say on that. Hope that clears things up!

    Update on 2/28/2011

    Hello everyone,

First and foremost, thank you to all backers! I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!

This is Jeremiah with a quick update. I was invited to present PlugBot at Swiss Cyber Storm 3 in Switzerland in May. Also in May, I will be presenting PlugBot at a security conference in the US. I'll post those details once the conference organizers give the thumbs up.

Meanwhile, Kickstarter progress is slow. I'm no marketing genius. So please help me spread the word as best you can!

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately you're missing the point. PlugBot is not just hardware. It's both custom code and hardware. The combination of the two you will not find anywhere. Again, you can buy similar hardware but you will not find PlugBot anywhere else.
