Posted project update #21Glorkian Update
Post CommentHello all! Miles here with another glork update. Work continues on the game and we'll have a new video to everyone soon, showing some of the new features and content we've put in there. We've made tons of progress, but right now everything is in pieces. Meaning, lots of graphics with no code, lots of code with no finished content, lots of halfway done levels and encounters, tons of music but nowhere to put it, etc etc. it's hard to show how far we've come with gameplay videos, as there's lots behind the scenes that's hard to see. Regardless we'll be posting one very soon. Thanks for the continued patience and support!

Andy Baio: "Would love it if I could control the character while the dialogue's going, rather than getting stuck"
I agree completely. -

I really love what I've seen so far! Reeeeally liked the spring level and the cute cave exploration. It would be really nice if the cave bits felt like levels in themselves also (at least things that you pass through), at the moment they just feel a bit like inconsequential bonuses (although maybe you are working on this already).
All in all, plays well and looks lovely! Can't wait for the final product.

Oh darn, I wish I had pledged enough to be a beta tester.
Ah well. Happy new year!

Looks awesome! I love the Glorkbot area at the end, such a fun/whacky contrast! The blend of platformer and shooter seems to make for some really fun/addicting gameplay. KEEP IT UP! I want to play so badly...
