The activity continues here at Parade Central. The Gigantes are taking shape wonderfully with the frames nearing completion, awaiting for their fabric skin. You can see more photos here:

The Parade is getting ready to launch in 5 days, Saturday May 7th, at 1:11pm!
The Wax-A-Thon fundraiser last week at El Leñador was a success, and we are now 94% funded with 24hours to go! We are only $137 away from our Kickstarter goal! We realize this is a large request, we've published our tentative budget to show how your funds would be used.

Also, our goal of $2500 was set since we've learned over the years the importance of compensating all the artists and performers who devote so much effort and materials to make it all happen. You can check out our draft budget, based on our experience from the 2010 parade!
