Hi Chyiochan ! Thank you for the interest in the project! To answer your question, the way Kickstarter works is that the people who have pledged money to the production of the toy are only charged on June 3rd if the full amount for the project is reached (in this case, $15000)...if the full funding is not reached, then no one is charged and the toy is not made (that way no one is out money for a toy that would not actually be produced). I hope that helps explain the process! --Mike

Posted project update #737% Funded!
Post CommentI am excited that we are at 37% funded with 43 days left to go! I am hoping to get the word out more this next week to get as many more people as I can to see the project (and hopefully spur some more pledging to get us closer to the goal of making this toy a reality)! And thanks so much to the people who have pledged so far!

Posted project update #632% Funded, 69 Days to Go!
Post Comment"Space Pussy" is 32% funded after three weeks (as of March 26th), thanks to everyone who has pledged so far!! I will be at the San Francisco Wondercon http://www.comic-con.org/wc/wc_artalley.php#list from April 2nd to April 4th at Artist Alley Table # 046, and it will be my main focus to promote this Kickstarter project (and hopefully bring in more pledges)! After two HUGE weeks, the kitty only raised 1% more this last week, which makes me a little worried about hitting the goal in time...so please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested in helping bring the toy to life!
Thanks again, and have a great weekend!

Hey Mike, chin up ! I put in a few bucks last night ass a backer - i put forward the idea of say a cut-off if (say) 1/3 was reached, then why not extend for a while.
I and my team are putting togther an energy currency site with members (free to anyone to join), can gift part of their "tithe" - 5% of the value of their energy true saving, to any worth while enviro cause, endangered species, other, (incl artists of yr stature and talent and commitment) - we are currently filming our 4 cats as they will be "greeting and being the technology training guides" for our new member as they download our Mac and PC energy-measuring widget.
Would u like to discuss making some figurines for us for our 4 cats please - we r very flexible, and may be able to license yr current work - if that suits you of course !
Anyway, have a think - we cud pay some license fees up front to you, we are by no means rich - have put ALMOST ALL of our pennies into our platform, but we are not paupers.
Let me know yr thinking when u get a chance. Wud love to hear from you, tom
