Posted project update #7Bosley Bear's News and Reviews!
Post CommentHey everyone,So far this has been a good success and there have been so many people who have jumped in to help this project along. Currently, I have 72 backers (9 more than this morning!) and have reached 92% of my goal. I've gotten a lot of great feedback and the book has been featured on several blogs and gotten some great reviews. As a backer, I thought you might be interested in checking these out.
Check out what Mundie Kids' Reviews has to say about it:

Here's an article on "Chalk Talk":

Posted project update #6New backer reward! - Seven different translations
Post CommentSince I've been able to get so many new translations of the book, it only makes sense to create a new reward for backers who want the book in each of the seven translations. Currently Bosley Sees the World is translated into:
- Spanish
- French
- Italian
- German
- Russian
- Mandarin Chinese
- Arabic
If you're looking to get a copy of the book in each of these languages, I've added a backer reward for a $65 pledge that will get you seven copies of the book. You can choose to get them all in the same language or any combination of languages.
Remember that after the project is successful is when you will be requested to specify which translations you'd like. That day is soon approaching us as we are now only 2 weeks away from the deadline. I've got $1000 left to raise in those 2 weeks so I've got a lot of networking and press to do, but I'm determined to make it.
Just a reminder that if you decide you want copies of some of the new translations you are allowed to change your pledge amount now.

Posted project update #5Bosley now available in Arabic!
Post CommentArabic is one of the six official languages of the United Nations with over 450 million speakers*. I've just recently found a translator willing to help me translate the book into this popular language. This brings the count to 7 different languages you will be able to choose from:
- Spanish
- French
- Italian
- Russian
- Chinese
- German
- Arabic
Remember that if you order more than one book, you can get your copies in different languages.
Also, I just published an article on the "Chalk Talk" blog about the importance and significance of teaching bilingualism to our children. So be sure to check that out - Chalk Talk is a blog created by April Larremore.
Thanks!

Posted project update #4German translation now available!
Thanks to Bosley's friends over at www.Lingibli.com there is now a German translation of Bosley Sees the World available for backers! That's a total of 6 translations for Bosley, and counting! When this campaign is successful you will be able to choose between: Spanish French Italian Chinese Russian and German! Thanks again to all you supporters who have helped bring Bosley this far! I'll be busy rounding up more supporters to make sure this gets off the ground. Meanwhile, if you know anyone who was holding out for the German, it's here!Post Comment -

Posted project update #3Bosley is at 50% of his goal
Post CommentThanks to all the great support I've gotten from you, we've just about reached 50% of the goal to publishing Bosley's book! Unfortunately, that doesn't mean you'll actually get 50% of a book. (Maybe that's a good thing, it would be lousy as half a story...) If we don't reach our goal, then all the money will be returned and no books will be printed.
If you know anyone with kids who might be interested in this project, please send this link along to them. I'm trying to contact children's hospitals and independent bookstores to see if they are interested in supporting as well. Or, if you have any other ideas for people or companies I could contact for support, I'm open to suggestions.
Looking forward to seeing this in print! Thank you again for all your support!

Good luck with your book. It's a good thing you are doing and your goal is modest so know you'll reach it. It might be helpful to add some images of your existing books or a little bit if info about the book you're writing. That can really encourage people to pledge.

Congrats, man!!
