Posted project update #3Video shoots, perfomances and engineering greats! So much Love!!!
Post CommentWell, we made it through the video shoot! My dear friends Jeremy Liesen and Matt Doll came through like champs and did an excellent job filming and working their video magic! Only a few snags and bad experiences throughout the day, but all in all it was amazing! I want to say thank you to everyone who came out to show support and I am excited to see what it all looks like and share it with the world! This video for the new track off of the upcoming album entitled "The Breakthrough" will be just a sneak peak at whats to come and should be out to the public before the album drops! I'll keep everyone in the loop as we progress!
We still have a little ways to go on the Kickstarter, but I am still holding my confidence that we are going to reach our goal! I am also planning on adding some EXTRA GOODIES TO EACH DONOR'S PACKAGE to add an extra thank you for the love and support! More details about that will be disclosed the closer we get to our goal!

Posted project update #2Almost 1/3 of the way there!
Post CommentHello all and thank you again for your love and support! We are almost 1/3 of the way to our goal! How exciting! We still have a lot of work to do but some of the hardest parts are now over!
The album is officially RECORDED and is now being sent out to receive its finishing touches (i.e. cuts, scratches, samples, etc.). I'm expecting it to be about another 2 weeks before we have all of the parts completed and ready for the mixing and mastering process. We are so close and I thank you all for staying with me every step of the way! This album has been influenced by great people like yourself, and I only hope that the inspiration that I obtained while making this album shines through vividly with the words and the rhythms that were spawned from that influence. Thank you again for that!
SOME NEW AND EXCITING NEWS TO ADD: On Thursday, April 12th at the Blind Pig, I will be shooting my FIRST EVER MUSIC VIDEO to one of the new tracks from the album! The track is called "Breakthrough" and at this point it looks as though it will be the second (2nd) track on the new album! This will give everyone a sneak peek at what is store for them with this project and also (for those who don't already know me) will put a face to the same and the sound! If you are out and about on that night, I look forward to seeing you there!

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to check out this project and for those of you making pledges! I can't describe how much it means to me to have such an amazing following of friends, family, and fans pushing me to continue doing what I do! Posted project update #3Shall we give this a Second Try?
Hello all! I am entertaining the idea of starting yet another Kickstarter for the "Triumphant Rise & Tragic Existence of Sick Nick" album. I realized that when I created the original Kickstarter platform, I was listening far to closely to what everyone else thought I should do and wasn't listening enough to myself. This led to the decision to drop a higher donation that needed making the goal harder to achieve! Now I have a better idea of my direction and of the resources I will need to complete this project! Instead of a $3,000 amount, I was thinking more along the lines of $1,500! THIS IS POSSIBLE! We almost reached this goal the last time around and I KNOW that we could do it again. So, What do you think? Should we give this thing another shot?

Posted project update #2Small steps towards great things...
It is unfortunate to say that we didn't reach our kickstarter goal. Although I had high hopes for the success of this kickstarter, I am not left dissapointed. I am honored by all of the support I have received not only from this fundraising platform but throughout the entirety of my career as a musician over the last 10 years. I am still extremely optomistic about the release of the new album and plan to proceed with the completion of the project. If you would still like to donate to the release of the album, IT IS NOT TOO LATE! I am playing a show December 30th at the Blind pig and will be HONORING AN INCENTIVE PROGRAM FOR THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTE to the release of the Triumphant Rise & Tragic Existence of Sick Nick.
