Post CommentThanks again to everyone that donated! MidCoast Takeover was a huge success and people really noticed that Kansas City and the Midwest have a vibrant music scene and a dedicated crew that put on an amazing showcase.
The first round of prizes have went out and the rest will go out as soon as we receive the items from our busy sponsors.

Thanks so much for your generous donation to MidCoast Takeover and helping us reach our goal!
To celebrate the upcoming trip to Austin and as a small thank you to the community that made it possible, we are throwing a party this Sunday at Press (upstairs of Crosstown Station, www.crosstownstation.com).
This party is free for all the Kickstarter donors, sponsors and bands playing MidCoast Takeover. $5 cover for everyone else.
The music kicks off at 8 p.m.

MidCoast Takeover is a collaboration between The Midwest Music Foundation, The Record Machine, Popwreckoning, Record Bar, Riot Room, Crosstown Station and Ink Magazine to bring over 20 Kansas City/Lawrence based artists to Austin, Texas during the South By Southwest Music Festival (sxsw.com) March 18th and 19th, 2011.
Looking forward to a good time sending off some of Kansas City's finest.
