Hello tweetlanders!
As many of you may know, the game is now ready and we are working on the final details of the campaign's launch! One of these details is an uber important mega cool trailer. We are working on a nice script to go with it, and we want to include you in it! Our plan is to involve tweetlanders all over the world to be featured in Tweet Land´s official game trailer. To do this, we'd like to encourage all of you to record a video of yourselves using an iOS device - similar to the video we are attaching with this message.
The idea is to collect videos of people worldwide using an iPhone, iPod or iPad at different iconic locations - this way, when editing we can show in the trailer people of the world using their device to tweet and/or play Tweet Land. Because of post-production reasons, we would need for you not to show the device's screen (similar to the reference video we are attaching).
If you possess high video filming/editing skills and know-how, that’s perfect! Just try to record it with the same techniques used in the reference video - focus, illumination, composition, etc. If you don't, thats also ok! Do what you can and send us your video!
REQUIRED:
- Have fun! Show a smile to the camera! ;)
- Avoid showing your iOS device's screen.
- Try to don't show flags, brands or any similar stuff.
DESIRED:
- Use the same techniques used on the reference video (focus, illumination, composition, etc.).
- Record the video in some nice location that somehow represents the place you are from (for example, if you're from NY, recording yourself in Central Park or 5th Avenue would be a good idea).
- Record in HD (720p).
We're taking any length and video format videos; send as many takes and/or videos as you want!
We will choose the best videos and include them on the trailer. To all tweetlanders that send us their videos: we will give 1 limited edition Tweet Land postcard signed by all the team members to one lucky winner.
If you are interested in being featured in the first trailer of the first game that plays with reality, send us your video, download link, or YouTube link to imFamous@tweetlandgame.com. The deadline will be November 1st. Hurry up! Maybe your friends could watch you on the next GameTrailer´s or IGN´s featured videos!
Note: Needless to say, by sending your video you are allowing us to use it in our official trailer. :)

Hola tweetlanders,
Como ya muchos de ustedes sabrán, el juego ya está listo y estamos ahora trabajando en los detalles finales de la campaña de lanzamiento. Uno de esos detalles es un mega importante y espectacular trailer. Ya estamos trabajando en un guión, pero ahora también queremos incluirlos a ustedes. Nuestro plan es involucrar a todos los tweetlanders alrededor del mundo para que protagonizen el trailer oficial de Tweet Land. Para hacer esto, queremos invitarlos a grabar un video donde salgan usando algún dispositivo iOS, tal como viene en el video de referencia que les estamos anexando.
La idea es recolectar videos de personas de todo el mundo utilizando un iPhone, iPod o iPad en diferentes locaciones icónicas -de esta forma cuando editemos podremos mostrar en el trailer a gente de todo el mundo usando sus aparatos para tweetear y/o jugar Tweet Land. Por esta razón de post-producción, vamos a necesitar que en los videos grabados nunca se muestre la pantalla de sus dispositivos (tal como viene la referencia).
Si ustedes ya tienen las habilidades y el conocimiento para producción de videos, es perfecto. Solo intenten mantener los mismos patrones del video original (iluminación, enfoque, composición, etc.). Y si no tienen tantas habilidades, también está bien. Hagan lo mejor que puedan y envíenos su video.
REQUERIDO:
- ¡Diviértanse! Déjen que la cámara los vea sonreir. ;)
- No muestren la pantalla de su dispositivo iOS.
- Intenten no mostrar banderas, marcas o cosas de este estilo.
DESEABLE:
-
Usen la misma composición visual de la referencia (iluminación, enfoque, etc.)
- Graben su video en alguna locación que represente de alguna forma el lugar de donde son ustedes (por ejemplo, si son de NY, grabarse en Centrarl Park o 5th Avenue es una buena idea).
- Graben en HD (720p)
No importa el tiempo del video, ni el formato en el que lo envien. Aceptamos todos. También pueden enviar cuantas tomas y videos quieran.
Nosotros vamos a escoger los mejores videos y los incluiremos en el trailer. Y entre todos los tweetlanders que nos envien sus videos, vamos a regalar 1 tarjeta postal de Tweet Land edición limitada firmada por todo el equipo a un afortunado ganador.

For the last couple of months we have worked night and day, and at last we have the game ready!! We are a few weeks away from our AppStore debut, but before we ship it, we have to define some final details. One of these is our game's appstore icon, and we need your help on this!

If you pledged $15 or more at this Kickstarter project, probably this days you will receive an email explaining how to install your Tweet Land Beta. After a lot of tweaking, we can finally release the Beta version of the first game that plays with reality! We hope you like it and leave us feedback. We are focused on creating a dynamic and new gaming experience full of surprises, but above all, we are aiming to make a game that we will love as developers and gamers aswell!

Hi Tweetlanders. Great news! We are releasing the Beta really soon so all the backers can try it and send us feedback. We want to remind all the backers that have not answer our Kickstarter survey yet, that you are still on time to send us your device ID. Please check your Kickstarter inbox.
And for those that don´t know how to get your iPhone/iPod/iPad ID so you can test the iOS game, we have this tutorial for you. Really simple. We are also posting an image that explain it very clear. Remember, is the 40 character field. Please send it as response to the Kickstarter survey, or mail it to contact@tweetlandgame.com with subject: “BETA ID” with your full name and the e-mail you use to log in Kickstarter. We need this to verify you are a backer.

Hola Tweetlanders. Les contamos que ya estamos a punto de sacar el Beta para que todos nuestros backers puedan probarlo y mandarnos su feedback. Les queremos recordar a aquellos backers que aún no han respondido las preguntas que mandamos que todavía tienen tiempo. Revisen su inbox de Kickstarter.
Y para los que no saben como encontrar el device ID (UDID) de su iPhone/iPod/iPad para que prueben la versión iOS, les pasamos un tutorial muy simple que dice como encontrarlo. También les anexamos una imagen que resume y explica el proceso. Recuerden que el ID es el número grande, el de 40 caracteres. Mandenlo como respuesta al survey de Kickstarter o si no al correo contact@tweetlandgame.com con asunto: "BETA ID" junto a su nombre completo y correo con el que se loguean a Kickstarter. Esto es para que nosotros podamos confirmar que ustedes son backers.
