I'm getting lots of questions and requests about my project so I thought I'd write you a quick note to let you know what's going on!
We finished tracking vocals, guitars and pedal steel just this last week. Despite power outages, sickness, touring and other various obstacles, it's all coming together. I am so excited at how the album is evolving and the incredible musicianship of my band and associates.
This week the record will get a bit of B3 organ and perhaps some piano. In the few weeks that follow, the album will get mixed and mastered. Then it will get sent out to be duplicated.
Meanwhile, I'm crazy with trying to finish album artwork, touring, taxes, moving (!), promoting, booking and all that other spring stuff that's happening around now.
I'm shooting right now for a May release of the record. Thank you all SO MUCH for your support and patience *smile*
Oh, yeah...and it finally has a title! "Beyond The Lights"

I've just returned from 13 days on the road, touring as June Carter with a band called Cashd Out. http://www.cashdout.com Sold out shows across Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and Washington got me fired up to get home and finish up my record!
