    Proof and PARTY!!

    Hello hello.

So I got the proof last week and everything is looking GREAT!!! I just had to make a few adjustments and the final copies are now being printed. I should be getting the first run of them by the middle of the month, so expect your copy to be mailed out by the end of the month. I had to make a few changes to the size of the book, it is now a 8.5" x 6" (instead of 10"x8"), this means that you will all be getting a little extra something with your book.

For those of you in the Portland area, I am having a book release party... YAY!!!

It will be on Thursday November 17th at Memento PDX (SE 37th and Hawthorne) from 530pm-8pm. There will be wine and appetizers, music and fun! There will also be door prizes for a few lucky guests, so invite your friends and come join us for a fun filled night!!!

If you would like to come and pick up your book (and art) I will have your orders there. Other wise I will mail them out the following week.

I will be posting more info on the book release party on my blog and on my facebook page.

    WE DID IT!!!

It's official, I have met my goal and pre-sold 53 copies of my book. I am so overwhelmed with emotions right now. Thank you so much for everyone who backed the project and for everyone else who helped get the word out there by writing blog posts and posting it on facebook and twitter.

Now that one part is over, the next part begins. Over the next week I will finish the design process and get it off to the printers. OH JOY! I will keep everyone up to date on the progress and as soon as I get the final product, I will start shipping them out to all of you!!!

Also, if you haven't already, you can "like" the facebook page I created for the book here...

    Getting Closer.

Good morning all. Thank you so much to everyone who has already backed the project and everyone else who has been helping spread the word about the project. We are almost to our goal. With just 5 more days left, I am hard at work finishing everything up and getting ready for the printers.

I wanted to share with you another spread from the book. These pages are from the Coney Island section of the book.

Let's keep up the momentum, please share with everyone you know this project. Post it on Facebook, send out emails, twitter if you have to, and again THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

    New Images

Hello all. Thank you so much for everyone who has already backed the project and everyone else who has been helping me get the word out there about this. It is so exciting to think that this might actually happen. We are 41% of the way there!!!!

I am working very hard scanning the last of the negatives and making the book as jam packed with beauty as possible. I just scanned my first roll from my 360 spinnner and fell instantly in love with this print. I dont know about you, but I love the Brooklyn Bridge. I cant go to NY without spending at least an hour taking photos and walking across it.

I am adding this image into the ones to chose from, it counts as 3 images, and is only available in print form. The images shown were printed 16x20, with the actual image size as 12x18 and framed in 16x20 white Ribba Ikea frames.

    Sneak Peak

Hello there. I just wanted to give all of you a sneak peak at one of the spreads. This is from the chapter on Central Park. All 3 images were taken with my Lomo LCA+, with cross-processed slide film, in September 2010.
