The size isn't going to be much bigger. It will be about to fit a canon 5d with a standard lens perfectly. A camera with dimensions 6" x 4.6" x 8" will fit perfectly. As for added features, there will be ways to reorient the strap. Nothing crazy. It will be the same simple case.

How soon till we know a more precise delivery date, even a better estimate?
I'm seeing a week for design; 5 weeks for molds; X weeks for final tinkering; and then full production, packaging, delivery.
I've held of buying a new camera case waiting for this, and with a trip in early August, it might not make sense for me to wait. -

+1 on Alex Hazlewood's question. I too have a trip planned and a more detailed estimate for shipping would be a great help.

hey everyone, I understand everyone anxiety on this project. Keeping the cost down with-in budget while getting in all the features is tough and proving very difficult. I'll be putting out a full update soon but for now I'll try and come on here every once an while to update everyone. Matt

Matt, it has been a while with no updates or estimated time of release of the case. Where do you stand? Thanks

At this point, I'm really regretting backing this...
Well its nothing like the original, but it is cheaper that other alternatives such as a pelican case. The case will still be nice to use even if it is not as portable as long as it is durable I will be happy. Remember guys you are not guaranteed anything from anything you back on kickstarter. Good luck with everything Matt, thank you for keeping everyone posted, I am sure it can be a bit hectic, an adventure I'm sure!
